Post Migration
The post migration series are snapshots of architectural structures as a result of human abandonment through forced evictions, upward mobility, contagions, death, and gentrification. The front facade and rear of the house represent contrasting or complementary physical characteristics of a community and the void of side walls enable the audience to observe the interior space and its contents. The floor/ground between the walls serve as a cradle/platform and or stage where objects and rubble intersect in meaning of mixed ancestries of someone’s past.
