Her collage mix media work blends the narratives of urban and rural human migration. By extension, this work explores the responsibilities people hold to places: as witnesses, as citizens, as storytellers, as revolutionaries. She uses various papers; books covers and other flat materials layering the surfaces to reference a person’s relationship to the culture in which they find themselves and their identities are present as distinct from environments while remaining a product of them.
